Crystal Ship MS Donau

OUR FIRST EVENT SHIP IN COOPERATION WITH SWAROVSKI

The shipping company Wurm & Noé set a milestone in the year 2007, when it modified the MS “Donau” into the Crystal Ship. The conversion of the passenger ship into a swimming crystal palace was themed by the elements water and crystal. The inspiration of the interior is base upon the myth of the nympf Isa which is told in the Bavarian-Austria region around the Danube. The cooperation with the worldwide renowned crystal manufactory Swarovski opened some totally new perspektives in planning and constrution. All of the crystal components on board are from Swarovski and create an atmosphere of luxury and glamour. Fiona Swarovski-Grasser (official Fiona Pacifico Griffini-Grasser) took over the godparenthood at the launching ceremony at May 7th in 2007.
